Thank you for your interest in Bay Area Worship!
Our Worship Team includes both the team on stage (vocalists and musicians) as well as the production team off-stage (audio, lighting, slides, and video). We serve together to create environments where people can encounter Jesus, and we’d love for you to join us!
No experience is necessary to join the production team - just a willingness and desire to learn. If you are interested in serving with our on-stage team, you will individually audition with a very small group. We know that auditioning can be an intimidating experience, but don’t stress – we want you to be comfortable.
If you are currently involved at another church, we ask that you stay committed to that church – we believe in local churches and partner with them in reaching our communities. If you have recently made Bay Area your church home, we ask that you attend a First Step class to learn about our core values before auditioning. We look forward to meeting you and hope you have a great audition.

WORSHIP TEAM REQUIREMENTS
- Attend Bay Area gatherings and special events, leading worship in the congregation even when you’re not on serving
- Attend required Bay Area worship meetings and rehearsals. Generally, this includes Thursday night rehearsals and Sunday gatherings as well as quarterly team nights
- Submit your lives to accountability
- Be involved in a community at Bay Area (community group, life group, etc.)
- Agree with Bay Area statement of faith
- Be diligent in living a life that is above reproach
