We simply define the gospel as the good news that through faith in Jesus, whose death and resurrection paid our penalty for sin, we have new, eternal life.

Our goal is to help equip you to clearly share the gospel, whether it’s with someone you know or have just met. God wants to use you to reach the people He has placed within your influence in your neighborhood, workplace, sports team and life. Who do you know that needs to hear about Jesus?

Of the 540,000 people living in Anne Arundel County, we estimate that just over 100,000 are believers. This means over 81 percent of our community does not know Jesus. More than 440,000 people around us desperately need to hear the Gospel.

Why share the gospel?

Jesus instructed us to.

You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1:8
Repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations. Luke 24:47
As the Father sent me, even so I am sending you. John 20:21

It’s a matter of life and death.

God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:11-12

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
