Week 1: Faith and the Supernatural

This series we kick off learning clear answers to common questions about faith. These questions were among the first asked by my cousin Jenny a few months ago: Does God really exist? What about evolution? What’s the deal with dinosaurs? Did Noah’s ark really happen? What about Jonah and the whale? Why did ancient people in the Bible live so long? Oh, and was Mary lying? This is a great opportunity to learn answers to questions you, or perhaps your friends and neighbors, have been asking.

WEEK 2: JESUS, SALVATION AND HIS CHURCH

This week in Jenny’s Questions: Was Mary lying? Was Jesus an alien? What makes Christianity different, and why are there so many different kinds of churches? Oh and by the way, why is church so boring? Will I see my dead relatives and pets in heaven? These are fantastic questions that we will explore in depth.

Week 3: Heaven

As we wrap up Jenny’s Questions, we will address some common misconceptions about the afterlife. Most people’s thoughts on heaven don’t seem heavenly at all (i.e. floating on a cloud playing harps for all eternity. What?!?) This week we will look at questions like Will I be myself in heaven? Will I see dead relatives? Will there be animals and even old pets? As we explore biblical answers to these questions and more, we will also address how we can experience God now – before we meet Him face to face.
