God has used John 20:19-22 more than any other passage to shape me as a missionary. I love this passage because on the greatest day in the history of the world - resurrection Sunday - we find Jesus’ best friends hiding behind locked doors. Instead of breaking the door down, Jesus miraculously appears to His friends and gives them a pattern for mission. He first gives them the Father’s peace, then sends them out on His mission, and finally empowers them with the Spirit’s presence. God has used this pattern over and over in my life and wants to use it in yours too.

Week 1: The Sequel

We all love a good story and being part of a good story. Every day you and I have a choice to make: which storyline we will live in. We can choose to live in the story that promotes self, seeks comfort, focuses on satisfaction, or strives for security. Yet there is another story, another narrative that is grander and truer than all the rest. It can and should define our lives as disciples. Join us as we look to understand our place in God’s story.
