Dear Bay Area Family,
I’d like to share with you an update about our Easton Campus leadership team. Campus Pastor Craig Fadel has accepted a new position at River Vale Community Church in New Jersey, where he will serve alongside longtime friend and senior pastor Kevin Hanly. I’m excited for him, but sad that for us this means that as of August 24, Craig will no longer be a part of our staff team.
While this is a loss for Bay Area, we believe it’s a win for the Kingdom! For many years, Craig and his wife Mary have had a dream for him to pursue a Ph.D. The Lord has opened the door for him to do both pastoral ministry and Ph.D studies in this season, and we are eager to support the Fadel family as they take this faith step.
This is bittersweet for me and for all of us. We are so grateful for all that Craig and Mary have done while they’ve served as such a significant part of our church family. I’m also grateful for the strong leadership God has raised up at our Easton Campus, and we’re trusting God to use them greatly in Craig’s absence as we continue the search for a lead pastor in Easton.
We look forward to hearing how the Lord will continue to work through Craig in this next part of his journey. Let’s be praying for the Fadel family and our Easton Campus in the days ahead!
From Here to the Nations,
Greg St. Cyr

Below are a few FAQs about Craig Fadel’s transition from Bay Area Easton’s staff:
When Craig transitions off of staff, who will provide point leadership for Easton?
In Craig’s absence, many of our church leaders will step in to provide leadership for Easton. Elder Chairman Rich Heath will provide point leadership for the Easton Campus staff. Elders Chad Nagel and Roy Madsen, and Student Ministry Pastor Jake Wieduwilt will serve the pastoral needs of the church family and provide leadership in the Sunday gatherings. Additionally, pastoral staff and ministry leaders from the Annapolis Campus will visit regularly to support as needed for our Easton Campus.
Does this impact our Easton Campus’ search for a lead pastor?
Not at all! We are moving forward as planned with our search for a lead pastor, confident in God’s perfect timing and fully trusting that He knows all of our needs. Please continue to pray with us that He will bring just the right person to lead Easton as it becomes an independent church plant.
Will we seek to fill a campus pastor position in light of it becoming an independent church plant?
No. We believe the Lord will bring us a lead pastor in His timing and are confident in the leadership currently at the church to continue the ministry.
Who can I contact with a question about this transition?
Easton Campus Elder Roy Madsen would be glad to answer questions and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If I have a pastoral question or need, who should I contact in Craig’s absence?
Chad, Roy, Rich and Jake would all be happy to help provide pastoral care for any personal needs that arise.
