Sponsored by Bay Area's Encore Servants retirees group, this one-day bus trip to the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., is open to all. Explore the history, narrative and impact of the world’s most published book. The museum includes six floors of exhibits and artifacts that span 3,500 years. Our next luncheon will be Wednesday, June 6 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the auditorium featuring guest speaker Jim Hiskey. Jim is a former BACC elder and a founder of the C.S. Lewis Institute. Jim has been a golf pro since 1958, a former PGA Tour player and instructor, and founder and Senior Editor of the Links Letter. He will speak about "Building a Discipleship Legacy."
All men and women 55+ are invited to a lunch on Wednesday, March 21 from 12:30-2:30 in the Auditorium that will feature guest speaker Phil Burgess. Phil is an award-winning educator, businessman, and author of the book “Reboot! What to do when your career is over but your life isn’t.” Phil is president of The Annapolis Institute and a columnist for the Annapolis Sunday Capital where he writes Bonus Years, a weekly column on successful aging. He will talk about how a God-centered, purpose-driven plan for our “encore years” will illuminate the path to successful aging and finishing well.
