Victory Jam

Victory Jam is an overnight summer camp experience for students finishing 6th-8th grade. This week-long camp is held at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference, right on the beach in Harvey Cedars, NJ! Students will join with hundreds of other students for the craziest team games, powerful worship, engaging teaching sessions and plenty of time at the beach!

Registration: 
$375 per students
$150 deposit due starting March 4*
Remaining $225 will be due by May 20.

*Please note that this trip fills quickly and space is limited. Spots are reserved based on the date you deposit. Once filled we will maintain a waitlist.

Who doesn’t like cake? Join us to decorate a summer themed cake taught by cake baker, Sarah Wieduwult. Bring three baked cakes (6" or 8" rounds), any flavor, your own cake board or cake plate and a flat cake spatula. You’ll take home your decorated cake at the end. Dementia Caregivers Support Group

Meets the second Sunday of each month beginning July 8 from 2 - 3 p.m.

Alzheimer's disease is life-changing for our loved ones and those who are Caregivers. The BACC Dementia Caregivers Support Group hopes to provide a place to connect with others who truly understand what you are going through. We would like to be able to support and walk alongside you as you are faced with these challenging times. We often hear caregivers and people who have been diagnosed say they are looking for support from people who "really understand because they've been there, too." We are just that – a safe place for caregivers, family and friends to meet and develop a mutual support system. BACC will be that place to talk through challenges and ways of coping, share feelings, needs and concerns and learn about resources available in your community.

Guppy Gulch Day Trip:

Middle & high school students are invited to join us on Thursday, July 19 for a day trip to Guppy Gulch. Guppy Gulch is a quarry filled with water with huge inflatables for climbing, jumping, racing, and more. We’ll meet at Bay Area at 8:00 am and we’ll return by 7:00 pm. High school students are invited to join us on Thursday, July 26 for an O’s game! We’ll meet at the church at 4:30 pm, and we’ll head up to Camden Yards. The cost will be $25. Big Beach Weekend

Big Beach Weekend is an overnight summer camp experience for students finishing grades 9-12. For this 3-night, 4-day experience, students will join hundreds of other high school students from the mid-Atlantic region for powerful worship experiences, engaging teaching, and plenty of time to hang out and relax with friends! Weekend activities include paddle boarding, kayaking, indoor swimming pool, time at the beach, sports tournaments, game room and café, and more. The camp is held at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference in Harvey Cedars, NJ.

Registration cost: $325 per students
Registration will open on May 6*

Bay Area Community Church's DivorceCare Support Group will begin on June 18 and meet every Monday. This ministry is being lead by trained people who understand what you are going through and want to help. There is a fee of $15 that covers your registration and the workbook.

Christian College Fair

A Christian College Fair is coming to Bay Area! It is scheduled for Monday, October 1, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Representatives from approximately 30+ of the top Christian colleges & universities in North America will be at the fair. 

The fair will include a Financial Aid Workshop. The Financial Aid Workshop will help families in your church understand why they should consider an education at a Christian institution and what resources are available to them. For that reason, we hope you’ll not only encourage your youth to attend the fair, but invite the parents to participate as well.

Bay Area Student Ministry is hosting a purity conference on May 19th at Annapolis EP. girls ages 6th grade through college and their Moms are welcome to join us. The Above All Else conference is a combo of local 4 churches and the local Young Life area joining together to begin a conversation on purity and God’s design for sex and dating. Moms and daughters have separate tracks of teaching throughout the day. 
The day is FREE with lunch and a special gift provided. Girls will experience 3 interactive workshops, and a Q&A panel. We have a book table of resources, vendors, and a Christian counseling practice that will be available this day. Cost is free but please register at the link below.

Find Your Leader Scavenger Hunt

High school students are invited to join us for our annual Amplify Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday, May 16! Students will meet at BACC at 6:00 pm, and will be transported to the Annapolis Mall. Students will be given instructions upon arrival, and will be challenged to find all of their leaders -- who won't be easily recognizable! This is a fun, annual event for community groups to do together. Students should eat prior to arriving, or bring a few dollars to purchase something at the mall. This event is free, and students will return to BACC by 8:30 pm.

Then, we’ll head off-site to Urban Air Trampoline Park, followed by a trip to Dave & Buster’s. Both off-site events will be private events for Bay Area students only. Dave & Buster’s will include unlimited video game play, unlimited bowling, a buffet with unlimited sliders, fries, chicken bites, soft drinks and more, pool tables, and a $20 game card. What to do when your career is over but your life isn’t.” Phil is president of The Annapolis Institute and a columnist for the Annapolis Sunday Capital where he writes Bonus Years, a weekly column on successful aging. He will talk about how a God-centered, purpose-driven plan for our “encore years” will illuminate the path to successful aging and finishing well.

Our fifth-graders are invited to a fun overnight event designed to help them discover who and whose they are! Fifth-graders must attend The Deep Blue and will get the most out of this retreat if they have accepted Jesus as their savior. Parents are required to attend a meeting hosted by Student Ministry Pastor Brent Squires from 7-8 p.m. on Friday that will be followed by an optional meeting to discuss parenting your child in a digital media world.

Vertical Weekend

Middle school students are invited to join us for Vertical Weekend, February 23-24, at BACC! Vertical Weekend is Bay Area Student Ministry’s annual in-house retreat for middle school students. Students will gather at BACC for three sessions from Friday evening to Saturday night. Each session will feature worship, teaching and games. Students will arrive Friday evening at 7:00 pm. After Friday's final session, students will depart in their gender/grade specific groups to BACC host homes (with their community group leaders) in the community. After breakfast on Saturday, students will be brought back to the church by the adult leaders. Students will participate in two sessions on Saturday along with many fun and exciting activities! Lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday. The event ends at 7:00 pm on Saturday evening.
