DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most challenging experiences. Don't go through separation or divorce alone. Bay Area Community Church's DivorceCare Support Group will begin on January 15 and meet every Monday through April 9. This ministry is being lead by trained people who understand what you are going through and want to help. There is a fee of $15 that covers your registration and the workbook.

GriefShare is a Bible-based program to help people who have experienced the loss of a spouse, family member or friend. This support group meets weekly to help those grieving by providing a safe place to walk through this time, learn from biblical teaching and gain great encouragement.
Middle school students are invited to join us for Vertical Weekend, February 23-24, at BACC! Vertical Weekend is Bay Area Student Ministry’s annual in-house retreat for middle school students. Students will gather at BACC for three sessions from Friday evening to Saturday night. Each session will feature worship, teaching and games. Students will arrive Friday evening at 7:00 pm. After Friday's final session, students will depart in their gender/grade specific groups to BACC host homes (with their community group leaders) in the community. After breakfast on Saturday, students will be brought back to the church by the adult leaders. Students will participate in two sessions on Saturday along with many fun and exciting activities! Lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday. The event ends at 7:00 pm on Saturday evening.

Our fifth-graders are invited to a fun overnight event designed to help them discover who and whose they are! Fifth-graders must attend The Deep Blue and will get the most out of this retreat if they have accepted Jesus as their savior. Parents are required to attend a meeting hosted by Student Ministry Pastor Brent Squires from 7-8 p.m. on Friday that will be followed by an optional meeting to discuss parenting your child in a digital media world.

Phil is an award-winning educator, businessman, and author of the book “Reboot! What to do when your career is over but your life isn’t.” Phil is president of The Annapolis Institute and a columnist for the Annapolis Sunday Capital where he writes Bonus Years, a weekly column on successful aging. He will talk about how a God-centered, purpose-driven plan for our “encore years” will illuminate the path to successful aging and finishing well.

Victory Jam is our middle school summer camp, held at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference! Middle school students are invited to join hundreds of other middle school students for the best week of the summer, filled with the craziest team games, awesome worship, engaging teaching sessions, and plenty of time at the beach! The Art Of Marriage is a two-day event that will help couples understand God's plan for their marriage and help them too. Middle school students are invited to join us at Skate Zone in Crofton for a night of skating! Students will meet at Skate Zone and will check-in with BASM staff and pay $5 upon arrival. High school and middle school students are invited to join us for Game Day 2018! We’ll be live-streaming the NFL Super Bowl Game, and we’ll have tons of great food, games, activities, giveaway prizes, and more! Students are encouraged to bring a new friend with them to this event. The doors will open at 6:00 pm for a 6:30 pm kick-off time. Students must be picked up within 30 minutes of the game ending. A $5 donation per student is encouraged.
Celebrating Phase One of The Descendants Project

Please join us on February 4 after any of our three gatherings as we celebrate what God has done through our church family’s giving during the first phase of The Descendants Project. There, we’ll provide an update and express our sincere appreciation for everyone who has participated in this faith-stretching effort. RSVP by January 28, 2018, to let us know you’re coming.
We will meet in the Chapel for music and three teaching sessions to bring us into God's presence. After each one, we will scatter throughout the church for individual quiet times to put the teaching into practice and to hear from God. A Visual Expressions room will give you an optional way to connect with God.
Be sure to bring a Bible and journal. You should dress warm and bring pillows/blankets and anything else you want to be comfortable and warm all morning. We will have hot drinks and light snacks available. At the end of the morning, you will receive a resource to take home.
High school students are invited to join us January 26-28 for Winter Meltdown 2018! Winter Meltdown is a weekend retreat held a River Valley Ranch. This all-inclusive retreat will feature engaging speakers, worship, and teaching. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the activities that River Valley Ranch offers, including: paintball, broomball, zip-lining, hanging out in the game room, basketball and dodgeball in the indoor gym, and so much more! The book of Psalms contains seven Hebrew words translated in English Bibles as the word praise. Join us for this interactive, 5-week class as we use Chris Tomlin’s book “Holy Roar” and selected Psalms to study each Hebrew word for praise and deepen our understanding and practice of worship. The majority of each class will be held in a single, large group setting, with men and women splitting into separate small groups near the end of each class.
BASM invites all seniors in high school to join us for a day of tubing at Roundtop Mountain Resort (Lewisberry, PA). We will meet at BACC at 8am and return by 8pm. The cost is 45$ per student which will cover transportation and an all day tubing pass. Students will be responsible for purchasing or bringing both lunch and dinner the day of the event.

The Deep Blue will have a pajama and movie morning on Sunday, December 31 at the 7:50, 9:20 and 11:20 gatherings for ages 4 and up. Our high school ALL-NIGHTER is happening December 15-16. The event begins on Friday evening, December 15, at 7:30 pm and ends Saturday morning, December 16, at 7:00 am. We'll be visiting Urban Air Trampoline Park, Dave & Busters, playing glow-in-the-dark dodgeball, and more! We'll wrap up with a waffle breakfast at BACC in the morning before heading home. Registration will open this Sunday, November 12, and the cost is $75. You will be ushered into the Christmas spirit on Monday, December 4 as we make Christmas wreaths and centerpieces using fresh greens. This workshop taught by Janice Shirlen will get you ready for Christmas decorating. Cost $25/wreath, $15/centerpiece. We will meet in the Dock B from 7-8:30 p.m.

This three-week LC designed to create space and time for communicating with the Lord in your marriage, as husbands and wives, and joined as one before our Heavenly Father.
