Middle and high school students are invited to join us for our 2018 BASM All-Nighter! We’ll start the evening with activities at the church, including laser tag! Then, we’ll head off-site to Urban Air Trampoline Park, followed by a trip to Dave & Buster’s. Both off-site events will be private events for Bay Area students only. Dave & Buster’s will include unlimited video game play, unlimited bowling, a buffet with unlimited sliders, fries, chicken bites, soft drinks and more, pool tables, and a $20 game card. This is intentionally scheduled right before the LAST Club678 of the year (which begins at 7 pm that same evening) so your student can stick around afterwards.

Find Your Leader Scavenger Hunt

High school students are invited to join us for our annual Amplify Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday, May 16! Students will meet at BACC at 6:00 pm, and will be transported to the Annapolis Mall. Students will be given instructions upon arrival, and will be challenged to find all of their leaders -- who won't be easily recognizable! This is a fun, annual event for community groups to do together. Students should eat prior to arriving, or bring a few dollars to purchase something at the mall. This event is free, and students will return to BACC by 8:30 pm.

College Students are welcome to join us at the College Spring Retreat on May 18-20th in Massenutten, VA. The cost is 100$ and will cover the transportation, housing and food during the weekend. This retreat is a great weekend to unplug from the normal duties of life and to re-focus your walk with God while being in fellowship with other Young Adults!

Victory Jam

Victory Jam is an overnight summer camp experience for students finishing 6th-8th grade. This week-long camp is held at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference, right on the beach in Harvey Cedars, NJ! Students will join with hundreds of other students for the craziest team games, powerful worship, engaging teaching sessions and plenty of time at the beach!

Registration: 
$375 per students
$150 deposit due starting March 4*
Remaining $225 will be due by May 20.

Guppy Gulch is a quarry filled with water with huge inflatables for climbing, jumping, racing, and more. We’ll meet at Bay Area at 8:00 am and we’ll return by 7:00 pm. Big Beach Weekend

Big Beach Weekend is an overnight summer camp experience for students finishing grades 9-12. For this 3-night, 4-day experience, students will join hundreds of other high school students from the mid-Atlantic region for powerful worship experiences, engaging teaching, and plenty of time to hang out and relax with friends! Weekend activities include paddle boarding, kayaking, indoor swimming pool, time at the beach, sports tournaments, game room and café, and more. The camp is held at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference in Harvey Cedars, NJ.

Registration cost: $325 per students

Phil is an award-winning educator, businessman, and author of the book “Reboot! What to do when your career is over but your life isn’t.” Phil is president of The Annapolis Institute and a columnist for the Annapolis Sunday Capital where he writes Bonus Years, a weekly column on successful aging. He will talk about how a God-centered, purpose-driven plan for our “encore years” will illuminate the path to successful aging and finishing well.

Our fifth-graders are invited to a fun overnight event designed to help them discover who and whose they are! Fifth-graders must attend The Deep Blue and will get the most out of this retreat if they have accepted Jesus as their savior. Parents are required to attend a meeting hosted by Student Ministry Pastor Brent Squires from 7-8 p.m. on Friday that will be followed by an optional meeting to discuss parenting your child in a digital media world.

Vertical Weekend

Middle school students are invited to join us for Vertical Weekend, February 23-24, at BACC! Vertical Weekend is Bay Area Student Ministry’s annual in-house retreat for middle school students. Students will gather at BACC for three sessions from Friday evening to Saturday night. Each session will feature worship, teaching and games. Students will arrive Friday evening at 7:00 pm. After Friday's final session, students will depart in their gender/grade specific groups to BACC host homes (with their community group leaders) in the community. After breakfast on Saturday, students will be brought back to the church by the adult leaders. Students will participate in two sessions on Saturday along with many fun and exciting activities! Lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday. The event ends at 7:00 pm on Saturday evening.

Women's Quiet Retreat

We will meet in the Chapel for music and three teaching sessions to bring us into God's presence. After each one, we will scatter throughout the church for individual quiet times to put the teaching into practice and to hear from God. A Visual Expressions room will give you an optional way to connect with God. 

Be sure to bring a Bible and journal. You should dress warm and bring pillows/blankets and anything else you want to be comfortable and warm all morning. We will have hot drinks and light snacks available. At the end of the morning, you will receive a resource to take home.

High school students are invited to join us January 26-28 for Winter Meltdown 2018! Winter Meltdown is a weekend retreat held a River Valley Ranch. This all-inclusive retreat will feature engaging speakers, worship, and teaching. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the activities that River Valley Ranch offers, including: paintball, broomball, zip-lining, hanging out in the game room, basketball and dodgeball in the indoor gym, and so much more! DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most challenging experiences. Don't go through separation or divorce alone. Bay Area Community Church's DivorceCare Support Group will begin on January 15 and meet every Monday through April 9. This ministry is being lead by trained people who understand what you are going through and want to help. There is a fee of $15 that covers your registration and the workbook.

Praise: Insights Into Worship

The book of Psalms contains seven Hebrew words translated in English Bibles as the word praise. Join us for this interactive, 5-week class as we use Chris Tomlin’s book “Holy Roar” and selected Psalms to study each Hebrew word for praise and deepen our understanding and practice of worship. The majority of each class will be held in a single, large group setting, with men and women splitting into separate small groups near the end of each class.

BASM invites all seniors in high school to join us for a day of tubing at Roundtop Mountain Resort (Lewisberry, PA). We will meet at BACC at 8am and return by 8pm.
