The Pregnancy Center of in Bowie, Annapolis, or Severna Park:

Here is a personal Testimony about Nina Klippen's experience serving with the Pregnancy Center of Annapolis. If you’d like to know more about how you can volunteer or ways the Clinic in Bowie, Annapolis, or Severna Park can help you or someone you know, check out their website at http://pregnancyclinicministry.org/   The Pregnancy Center offers free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, classes for moms-to-be, post abortion counseling, testing for STI’s & HIV, education on abortion, abortion, & fetal development, community resource referrals, & post-abortion counseling.

My name is Nina Klippen. Last year our Missional Community decided to give money to help the Pregnancy Center that would soon open in Annapolis. Since I lived nearby, I offered to deliver the check for our group. While there, I decided to sign up for a class for new volunteers. Every week I showed up for the training, not really sure if “I had a heart” for this ministry.  But then I became one of the regular volunteer counselors for women with unplanned pregnancies! Everyone who asks me knows this volunteer opportunity has changed me as much as I have helped others.

El Salvador Community Development Center

BACC partners with the Community Development Center in El Guayabo, El Salvador, to provide 1 hot meal a day, tutoring help, and medical/dental care to the most needy 35 children there. With your help sponsoring a child for $45/mo, they can accommodate up to 80 children. This program ensures that the children enroll in the local school instead of working. Several short term BACC summer missions groups have helped to build and support this Center.
