WHAT IS PARTNERSHIP
Partnership at Bay Area Community Church is a commitment to live out our faith together under the mission of “making passionate, maturing followers of Jesus from here to the nations.” It is an invitation to pursue Christ personally, for our community, and for the nations. It's a commitment to be a disciple and to make disciples. Ministry Partnership is also considered to be our version of "church membership."
Partnership is a commitment to live missionally with others at Bay Area and with others in your community. We hope that partners would join us in loving God back, loving each other, and loving our neighbor. It's also an affirmation of belief in Jesus Christ and in the mission of Bay Area.
WHAT DOES THE PARTNERSHIP PROCESS LOOK LIKE?
You'll begin by registering for an all-day Saturday orientation at the church. Once registered, you will receive more information that includes completing an application so we can get to know you better. After the orientation, the process will be complete after you have a dialogue with one our elders. It's simply a conversation with you and an elder to discuss any doctrinal questions you might have, along with a time to share your testimony. If you chose, you'll sign the Ministry Partner Commitment.
We also believe that finding community here at Bay Area, whether through a missional community or service opportunity, is highly beneficial to your walk. During the partnership process, we'll encourage you to get plugged in. Learn more about or plug into community and serving.
