BACC Stories
How has God met you recently?

Here's a story from the BACC service on JULY 18, 2010.
Jason Lampman, Pastor of Serve Baltimore, a BACC church plant gave the message.  His focus was on Acts 5: 12 - 42 and it was titled. "Expectations of a Dangerous Passion".

God is so cool! At church yesterday, God sat me next to someone on purpose. When we were interacting in our small little groups during the message, we were supposed to discuss what challenges we have faced that hinders our sharing the Gospel. I told her about Multiple Sclerosis and how I've been diagnosed with it recently.  However the doctors are not sure of this diagnosis which is disconcerting and frustrating to say the least. The woman I was talking with started crying and told me she had just lost her daughter to MS.  At the end her daughter was being fed through a tube in her chest and it was awful. Then I started crying and we exchanged information. She has been married 52 years and is a church leader in Wales. She comes here on holiday to visit her friends and just loves Bay Area. She said to me, "Of all the people in this room that God could've sat me next to but He hand picked this scenario for sure!"
I feel like the LORD is setting up a strong support system for me.  He is telling me that I am not alone and that I need to tell my story so that others can support me and I can in turn give support and encouragement to others!
