Every disciple of Jesus is a “sent one.” Jesus said, “…as the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you” (John 20:21). Some of us are sent by Jesus locally into the lives of our families, friends, and communities.

Others are sent by Jesus to plant churches in areas that need a church that is relevant in their context to bring the good news of Jesus. Bay Area aspires to be like the Antioch Church, cooperating with the Holy Spirit, to send out church planting teams (Acts 13:1-4). We count it a joy to cultivate a network of church plants that multiply throughout the mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
