This year we continue to focus on developing the 5 Faith Skills. Please talk with your child about them and encourage them to make these skills into habits.
- Navigate the Bible (Read His words)
- Personalize Scripture (Remember His words)
- Dialogue with God (Talk to Him)
- Articulate faith (Talk about Him with your friends)
- Worship with your life (Make Him more important than anything)
In addition, each month will center on unfolding the meaning of a different Virtue and Bible Verse. July's Virtue is:
- The God Time card is designed for children K through 5th grade. It is a weekly devotional designed to focus their attention on spending time reading the Bible and talking to God at home. It is intended for older children to do alone and younger children to do with their parents.

- The Fridge Door magnet is designed for children K through 5th grade. It is a weekly update for parents that gives them the virtue, memory verse, Bible story, bottom line (the key concept for the week), and a question for children and parents to talk about.

- Virtue Packs are a CD-based parenting tool to correspond with the monthly virtue. The virtue pack contains some great ideas for extending the lessons at home. There are four parts to each Virtue Pack:
DriveTime CD - Songs, helpful hints, and more
Morning Time Cards - Write a short note to inspire and encourage your child
Meal Time notes - Involve the whole family in discussions on the monthly virtue
BedTime Cards - Bible stories to share at night
The virtue packs are available for $10 at the Children's Welcome.

Offering
We will continue to collect offering through the summer. Look for a new giving project to be announced in September.
