What should I wear?

You will notice people dressed in what is comfortable for them, from suits and dresses to jeans with sneakers.  Come as you are.

What is the worship style?

Contemporary worship music.  People at Bay Area feel free to worship as the spirit leads them.

How about the preaching?

Relevant biblical teaching from either our Sr. Pastor, Greg St. Cyr, or our Teaching Pastor, Pat Linnell.  We strive to have a healthy ratio of topical messages to messages rooted in a specific book of the Bible, always giving priority to the Spirit’s leading.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?

Nope.

What about my kids?

Bay Area has an exuberant children's ministry that encourages children to know and love God. It spans infants through 5th grade.

When you arrive, visit the children’s welcome counter and they will direct you to the correct classroom for your child.  We use KidCheck as a way to keep your children safe and secure.  You will be assisted with checking in and then your child will receive a name tag and a guardian receipt.  Only approved guardians with matching receipts will be allowed to pick up your child.

How often do you serve communion?

We practice an open table for all followers of Jesus.  As a congregation we take communion together every 4th Sunday of the month.  Communion is also available every week at the conclusion of each gathering.

What happens after the worship gathering?

At the conclusion of each worship gathering people gather in the Bay Café for coffee and refreshments.  This is a valued time to connect with people in a relaxed atmosphere.
